Jay-Z 'forced to drop party fee'

Jay-Z dropped his nightclub appearance fee due to a lack of interest last week, say reports.

The rapper planned to visit the UK to help promote the New Jersey Nets basketball match against Miami Heat at the O2 Arena on Sunday.

However, representatives for the musician were apparently unable to find any club willing to pay £25,000 for his party hosting services.

According to The London Paper, Jay-Z still did not get any offers after lowering his price to £7,500.
