Rapper M.I.A. confirms pregnancy

Rapper M.I.A has confirmed that she is expecting her first child.

The Sri Lankan-British singer made the announcement following a performance at Diesel XXX party in Brooklyn, reports Metro.

The 'Paper Planes' star said she and fiancé, The Exit singer Ben Brewer, had taken a traditional approach to family planning.

"I got engaged first, then I got pregnant," she said.
