Lohan's dad 'to fight businessman'

Lindsay Lohan's father Michael will fight businessman Bob Venero for charity.

Venero, who bid $30,000 to take on Lohan in the boxing ring, has dubbed himself 'The Humanitarian Hit Man'.

"We're both going to give it our all," Venero told the New York Daily News. "As a fellow New Yorker and a humanitarian, I feel I'm doing the nation a favour by getting in the ring with him."

The founder of the Bob Venero Children's Foundation, Venero confessed that he has no boxing experience.

Lohan added: "It's a fight, it's going to get serious. But it's about charity. We're not going to kill each other.

"There have been so many jabs taken at me personally but you all know I'm not one to stand there and take a punch."
