Cruise's agent denies actor's death

Tom Cruise did not fall to his death from a cliff top in New Zealand, a representative has confirmed.

A report surfaced on the internet yesterday that the Top Gun star had died after plunging from the Kauri Cliffs - close to where the star is currently filming a new movie.

It follows a similar story which emerged online two years ago, which claimed Forrest Gump star Tom Hanks had fatally fallen from the cliffs.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Tom Cruise uses bulletproof glass in the vehicles of all his cars.

According to In Touch Weekly, the star refuses to allow his wife and three children to travel without the measure in place.
