Duchovny, Leoni 'still as close as ever'

David Duchovny and Téa Leoni are reportedly as close as they have ever been, despite announcing their split earlier this week.

The pair revealed that they have been separated for several months, and have now decided to end their 11-year marriage.

However, a source has told Now magazine that the two still "get along great together".

Duchovny is currently filming a new series of Californication, and former co-star Madchen Amick commented that he is missing children Madelaine West, 9, and Kyd, 6.

"The hard part about doing the show is being away from them. He really adores them," she told People.

"His family is really important to him."
