Ross 'fancies' Peter Kay's alter ego

Jonathan Ross has confessed that he has a crush on Geraldine, the character played by Peter Kay in Britain's Got The Pop Factor And Possibly A New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly On Ice.

The chatshow host appeared on Radio 1's Chris Moyles Show yesterday morning and revealed his feelings for Geraldine after the DJ played her single, 'The Winner's Song'.

He said: "You know you played the Geraldine song a minute ago? Am I alone in finding her quite attractive?"

Ross added that he told Kay about the crush, but that he wasn't too flattered.

"I was speaking to Peter Kay just yesterday, and I made the mistake of saying on the phone: 'You know what? I thought you looked quite nice.' He didn't like it. She's quite sexy, in a school dinnerlady kind of way."
