Madonna's friends 'must choose sides'

Madonna has told her friends that they must lose contact with Guy Ritchie for the duration of their divorce battle, according to a report.

The former couple's celebrity pals, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Vinnie Jones, are said to be under instruction to choose sides in the coming days.

An insider told the Daily Star: "The next few months will be a time where Guy and Madonna will only talk through lawyers.

"Madonna does not want to be telling one of her good friends in confidence about some part of the divorce strategy, only to discover that the information has found its way back to Guy."

The pair confirmed that they were splitting after seven years of marriage earlier this week.
