Russell Crowe's ponytail is to be given to a charity which supports children who have lost their hair.
The actor has grown his locks for his role in Ridley Scott's new version of Robin Hood, in which he will reportedly play both the Sheriff of Nottingham and Robin Hood.
The Daily Express reports that Crowe will cut off his hair and give it to wig charity Locks Of Love when filming finishes.
"Russell has grown attached to the hair, but he's excited to help," an insider said.
