Princes set off on 1,000 mile bike ride

Princes William and Harry have set off on a 1,000 mile charity motorbike trek across South Africa.

William, 26, told the BBC that the pair have not done any specific training for the gruelling off-road trip, although both have previous motorcycle experience.

Prince Harry, 24, described the eight-day task as a "mix of charity and adventure", with cash raised being split between the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund and Sentebale, the charity he set up in memory of his mother.

He said it would be "great fun" to spend some time with his elder brother, adding that they might argue a little en-route.
