Franco "uncomfortable" with hot tub scene

James Franco has admitted that filming a nude scene in a hot tub made him "uncomfortable".

The Spider-Man actor told Out that he signed up for the movie Milk, about gay San Francisco politician Harvey Milk, for the chance to work with My Own Private Idaho director Gus Van Sant.

"There's a scene where I'm naked in the pool and everybody else is dressed and there's just something uncomfortable about that," Franco explained.

"I felt like the girl in all those teen movies that pops out of the hot tub topless. I was like, All right, it's Gus Van Sant. I'll do whatever. I was just happy to be there."
