Piper to stay in hospital after Caesarean

Billy Piper will remain in hospital for another week after she gave birth to her son by emergency Caesarean.

Piper's husband, Laurence Fox, said his wife and their new baby, Winston James, were "good".

However, he said the 26-year-old actress would remain in hospital for up to a week on doctor's advice following the emergency operation.

"She had a Caesarean. It was quite a major thing, wasn't it?" he said.

Fox and Piper married last December in Eastbourne, near their home in West Sussex.
