Madonna 'was jealous of Ritchie ex'

Madonna was jealous of Guy Ritchie's ex Tania Strecker throughout their relationship, say reports.

According to The Sun, the singer was concerned that Ritchie always preferred his former lover, who is 15 years younger than her.

"Madonna took Guy from Tania, but never really trusted him that he loved her for herself," said a source.

"Today she's consumed by the fear that Guy was more interested in her for her money. And that - if it hadn’t been for her fortune - he'd have stayed with Tania rather than marry her."

Strecker, who also used to date Robbie Williams, is now married to James de Rothschild.

The model claimed in 2001 that her relationship with Ritchie overlapped with Madonna's.

She told the BBC that she had still been in love with the director 18 months before, when Madonna would have been pregnant with Ritchie's son Rocco.

When quizzed further about whether she was still romancing the Snatch creator at the start of his relationship with the popstar, Strecker replied: "No-one's figured it out so I'm not going to say anything."
