Jay-Z to host Cleveland Obama rally

Jay-Z will lend his support to Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama by hosting a rally for the politician in Cleveland next week.

The hip-hop star is to team up with basketball player LeBron James as part of a drive to encourage early voting. He is also expected to perform at the event, which is being held at the Quicken Loans Arena on October 29.

Admission to the rally is free but those wishing to attend will have to acquire tickets beforehand via Obama's website.

It has not been revealed whether the candidate or running mate Joe Biden will be in attendance.
