'American Beauty' star to tie knot in Italy

Mena Suvari wants a "traditional Italian" wedding when she ties the knot in 2010, reports People.

The American Beauty star met her partner Simone Sestito at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival and he proposed in July.

"We want to marry in Italy," Suvari said, adding that they will fly to the country this week to look at venues.

"We were there in August, and everything was closed in August, so we want to look at a lot of cathedrals and find a place," she said.

Suvari divorced her first husband, cinematographer Robert Brinkmann, in 2006 after six years of marriage.
