Fall Out Boy attempt record talkathon

Two members of Fall Out Boy will attempt to break the world record for the number of radio interviews completed by two people in one day.

Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump are looking to attend 58 interviews during a 24-hour period beginning in the early hours of October 31.

The US rockers start the stunt in Los Angeles and are hoping the record attempt will help promote their new album Folie A Deux, which is due for release in December.

The current record for the most interviews during a day is 57, set by an unknown pair in May 2008.
