Kudrow's in-laws mock her dress sense

Lisa Kudrow has revealed that her French in-laws often mock her dress sense.

The former Friends actress, who has been married to advertising executive Michael Stern for 13 years, fears she is merely "tolerated" by her husband's family.

She said: "There's always, 'Oh, look at you - you don't like to wear dresses!' But they say it in such a nice way that, for the first ten years, I guess I was like, 'Oh, how nice, even though I don't dress like them, they still like me.' It's good to be dumb because you don't get hurt."

Though Kudrow insists her in-laws are "nice" people, she has now realised she has failed to bond with them.

"I feel like they tolerate me," she explained. "Like when you're burdened with something unpleasant and you cope with it."
