Mother-in-law critical of Katona TV slot

Kerry Katona's mother-in-law has described the reality TV star's recent This Morning interview as 'embarrassing'.

Marilyn Croft also claimed that she was convinced Katona was drunk on the show, despite her repeated claims otherwise.

"I can't believe she went on TV in that state," she told Reveal magazine. "I was so embarrassed for all the family and especially her.

"If she hadn't been drinking before that interview I would be amazed because she was acting more drunk than when I've seen her have a drink."

Following criticism of her appearance, Katona insisted that her slurred speech was down to bipolar medication rather than alcohol or non-prescription drugs.
