Lohan's father retracts Ronson slurs

Lindsay Lohan's father has admitted that he regrets making jibes at his daughter's girlfriend.

Last month Michael Lohan called Samantha Ronson "disgusting" in an email rant as part of a series of slurs against the DJ.

"In the past, I felt that the best way to get to [Lindsay] was to speak out publicly and it was the wrong choice. Family matters should be kept private. I’ve learned that now," Michael Lohan told New York magazine.

He added that his Christian beliefs means he "should not pass judgment on anyone".
