Efron: 'My private life is boring'

Zac Efron has claimed his private life "is not that interesting".

The High School Musical actor said he kept his relationship with co-star Vanessa Hudgens away from the media because he wanted to still live like a "regular person".

"I think from a publicity standpoint things can get kind of crazy," he told Heat. "I grew up as a very regular person and I really want to keep it that way. My personal life is not that interesting."

When asked whether he would be snapped drunk at nightclubs now that he is 21, he answered: "I wouldn't give them [the media] the satisfaction.

"I'm having too much fun doing what I'm doing. I definitely don't want to go and screw up."
