Ritchie rejects £20m divorce offer

Guy Ritchie has reportedly turned down a £20 million divorce settlement offered by Madonna.

The main problem remains an agreement on where the couple's two children will live. Madonna wants them to be with her and her daughter Lourdes in New York, while Ritchie believes they should remain in England.

According to biographer J. Randy Taraborrelli, the couple is "no closer" to reaching any agreement.

He told Hello: "There was a great deal of haggling about this matter last week, with Madonna upping the amount of Guy's settlement to more than £20 million in hope that he would acquiesce.

"They are not even speaking to each other. They communicate only through lawyers."

The couple announced their split two weeks ago, with a friend of Ritchie claiming the director had considered his marriage a "circus".
