Hudson's sister grieves for slain family

Jennifer Hudson's sister has told of her grief over the murders of her mother, brother and son.

Julia Hudson thanked the public for their support on a MySpace page purported to be hers just two days after her only child Julian King was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

The seven-year-old's body was discovered in an abandoned SUV close to the family home in Chicago, two days after Jennifer and Julia's mum Darnell Donnerson and brother Jason Hudson were found shot dead.

Julia's MySpace post said she had lost her "beautiful family", adding: "My wonderful beautiful loving supporting mother Darnell, my true blue baby brother Jason, I love u big baby... And last but never not least my only son Julian, my innocent baby one that was sheltered from all the evil in the world because we loved him so much."

She said she took comfort from knowing that Julian is with "my mother and my brother and most of all the Lord".

William Balfour, the boy's stepfather and Julia's estranged husband, is being held in custody on an alleged parole violation. No-one has been charged over the deaths.
