Katona's mum rushed to hospital

Kerry Katona's estranged mum was taken to hospital after collapsing at her home yesterday.

Sue, 48, was suffering from agonising back pains, reports The Sun.

While friends said she has been "beside herself worrying about Kerry", the former Atomic Kitten apparently said: "It is probably all the alcohol she has been drinking."

Katona, 28, yesterday sacked her PR agent Max Clifford for voicing his fears over her recent behaviour. Clifford spoke out after Katona slurred her words during an appearance on This Morning last week.

Questioned by Philip Schofield and Fern Britton, Katona denied a drink problem and said her speech was affected by medication taken for bipolar disorder. She later claimed that she was "ambushed" by the presenters.
