The actress has launched a lawsuit against photographic agency Big Pictures (UK) Limited and its founder Darryn Lyons claiming harassment and invasion of privacy with the publication of a "number of highly intrusive photographs", reports the Press Association.
Miller's counsel David Sherborne accused the agency of operating "a campaign of harassment", which has continued for several months "despite requests to desist".
Sherborne stated that it was important to come to a resolution, "particularly for the claimant whose life has been made intolerable by the conduct of which we complain".
He added: "Some of these photographs were taken of or as a result of the incidents complained of as forming part of the harassment of the claimant, at a time when she is in visible distress."
The trial will begin early next year.
