Oasis discuss politics with Sinn Féin

The Gallagher brothers discussed politics with senior Sinn Féin politician Martin McGuinness while on a flight to Belfast earlier this week, say reports.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, the Deputy First Minister Of Northern Ireland is a fan of the rock band and his favourite track is 'Wonderwall'.

"Martin has met the Gallagher brothers before at Heathrow Airport and, yes, he was talking to them again yesterday," said the politician's spokesperson.

"They seemed genuinely interested in what is going on here and seemed to be pretty knowledgeable about the situation as well."

Oasis were visiting Belfast for the final leg of their current UK tour.
