Katona to pursue country music career?

Tabloid reports have claimed that Kerry Katona wants to pursue a career making country music.

According to The Sun, the I'm A Celebrity... winner is in talks with MTV about making a show following her attempts to make a new record in America.

"There is an idea for her to go to Nashville to work with songwriters to try to relaunch her music career," said a source.

"The Nashville show is one idea people are keen on at MTV. After the harrowing things Kerry's been through on camera - birth and plastic surgery - we want something funny."

Katona scored five top 20 singles between 1999 and 2001 with Atomic Kitten, but has never released any solo material.
