McKellen, Stewart join new 'Godot' show

Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart are to co-star in Sean Mathias's production of Waiting For Godot.

The veteran actors, who appeared together in the X-Men movies, will tour the UK with the production in March and April before it opens at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket on April 30.

Mathias's show will visit Malvern, Milton Keynes, Brighton, Bath, Norwich, Edinburgh and Newcastle. Further castings will be confirmed shortly.

McKellen and Stewart first teamed up in 1977 in Tom Stoppard's Every Good Boy Deserves Favour.
