Cohen's Bruno crashes anti-gay rally

Comic actor Sacha Baron Cohen gatecrashed an anti-gay marriage rally in California at the weekend, say reports.

The Borat star was in disguise as his fictional character Bruno, wearing a blond wig and "preppy" outfit.

The rally was held to back the controversial Proposition 8 bill, which would make same sex marriages illegal in California.

The star was removed by his production team when his true identity was discovered, reports WENN.

Baron Cohen previously caused a stir in September, when he was chased by security after storming a Milan catwalk during a high-profile fashion show dressed as Bruno.

Footage of his antics is expected to appear in new movie Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America For The Purpose Of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable In The Presence Of A Gay Foreigner In A Mesh T-Shirt, which he is currently filming.
