Beyoncé: 'I'm a terrible cook'

Beyoncé Knowles has revealed that she is a disaster in the kitchen.

The singer, who married rapper Jay-Z in April, said she has to phone her mum whenever she tries to prepare a meal.

WENN quotes the 27-year-old as saying: "I like the idea of being able to cook but I just can't do it.

"I have to call my mum and she has to be on the phone the whole time because I'm burning stuff."

Knowles's new album I Am... Sasha Fierce is scheduled for release in the UK on November 17.
