The rock 'n' roll icon has been performing with Billy Joel in a series of free concerts to raise funds for the Democratic Presidential hopeful.
Addressing an 80,000-strong crowd in Ohio, Springsteen insisted that Obama can revive the American dream.
He said: "So I don't know about you, but I want my country back, I want my dream back, I want my America back.
"Our social contract has been shredded. We're going to need all the angels we can get. Senator Obama's efforts to build a house big enough for all our dreams."
Obama, wife Michelle and their two daughters later joined Springsteen for the set's finale.
The politician has used Springsteen's track 'The Rising' as he takes to the stage for his campaign rallies.
