Simpson holds secret baby shower

Ashlee Simpson had a secret baby shower in Los Angeles at the weekend.

According to Star magazine, Simpson and husband Pete Wentz held the event at Bel Air Hotel's Palm Room on Saturday.

The shower had a Winnie The Pooh theme, say reports.

"The room was decorated with yellow and orange roses, and guests were given jars of honey with custom-made labels that said 'Baby Wentz' and 'Thank You For Celebrating My Life' on them," said a source.

"The girls were also given bracelets that had a big bumble bee on them."

Food served at the shower included crab cakes, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, jicama salad with grapefruit and a bumblebee-shaped cake.

Wentz confirmed last week that Simpson may give birth "at any point now".
