Michael 'to buy £1m gold face model'

George Michael allegedly wants to buy a £1 million gold and diamond model of his own face.

According to the Daily Star, the popstar is eager to purchase a replica of himself and has also expressed an interest in a £50 million diamond skull by Damien Hirst.

"George is very keen on getting a gold and diamond-encrusted statue of himself," a source said. "He loves the idea of having something so permanent."

The model that Michael is apparently interested in was made by Dragons' Den contestant Laban Roomes.

Roomes said: "These statues sparkle like you wouldn't believe. They are the perfect Christmas present."
