The premiere of the TV chef's cooking stage show had been due to take place in Hamburg on November 13. However, fans in the German city will now have to wait until 2009 for the 'Jamie Oliver Dinner Show' to take place.
The Daily Bild blamed poor ticket sales for the premiere being pushed back. However, publicists for Oliver in Germany denied the claim, telling AFP that more than 7,000 tickets have already been sold.
An official statement instead cited problems with the 500-seat tent in which the extravaganza was due to be staged.
The show's premiere has now been moved to Frankfurt on November 20, with Oliver expected to make a personal appearance. The celebrity chef was not due to appear in Hamburg, but a personal message would have been beamed into the auditorium.
