Simon Cowell: 'I'm off women now'

Simon Cowell has claimed to be "off women" following his split from long-term girlfriend Terri Seymour.

Speaking at the Music Industry Trusts' Award, The X Factor judge said he was still on speaking terms with his ex.

"Don't worry about me - I don't need a lonely hearts ad," he commented. "I'm off women now. But everything's fine between me and Terri - we're still friends. In fact that was her on the phone just now."

Cowell added that he made an effort to maintain close relationships with his former girlfriends.

"I've always been very close to all my ex-girlfriends," he said. "We've never fallen out - they're like my best friends."
