Beyoncé: 'Obama is the American dream'

The singer made her remarks as Obama was elected the first black President in US history, telling PopEater: "Everyone is excited and it's time."
She added: "I feel like we have grown so much as a nation and we will continue to grow because of Mr. Obama."
Beyoncé had further praise for the new leader's family, saying: "I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Obama, his wife and his children, and they are the American dream.
"They are so elegant, so classy, so intelligent and everything that I want to be. They make me really proud of my country."
Beyoncé releases new single 'If I Were A Boy' on November 10.
