Willoughby fancies 'Midsomer' cameo

TV presenter Holly Willoughby has said that she would love to appear in Midsomer Murders.

The Xtra Factor host claimed she is a huge fan of the murder mystery show, which features veteran actor John Nettles in the role of Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby.

She told The Sun: "I would really love to have a part in a murder mystery like Midsomer Murders. I'm a big fan of John Nettles.

"My friends tell me I watch too much daytime TV but I just love them."

Willoughby confirmed last weekend that she was expecting her first child with husband Dan Baldwin.
