Clancy buys custom-made shoes for Crouch

Model Abbey Clancy is to buy custom-made shoes so she is closer in height to 6ft 7in boyfriend Peter Crouch.

According to the Daily Star, the 22-year-old, who stands at 5ft 9in, is having the footwear made with Kurt Geiger-designed uplifts to stop her getting neck ache from kissing Portsmouth footballer Crouch.

A source said: "Abbey is ­really excited about these new shoes. They're the first to support your feet in an almost vertical tiptoe ­fashion.

"She was saying that she gets neck ache when she snogs Pete so the innovation is a godsend for her.

"They're also going to be black and glittery, which is a cheeky bonus."

The insider added: "Abbey was saying how much she loves Pete's height, though. It’s obviously a real turn-on to have a big strapping lad on her arm."
