Travis McCoy has revealed that he gave Katy Perry "a bunch of kisses" to ease his girlfriend's pre-EMA nerves.
As well as hosting last night's European Music Awards - her first major presenting job - Perry had to open the show with a performance of 'I Kissed A Girl'.
"I'm sure she's nervous because it's her first hosting gig," McCoy told DS before the event. "But I just gave her a bunch of kisses - my lips are raw! And my kisses could help anyone be a great host."
Perry, who made 12 costume changes during the awards ceremony, rounded off her evening by winning the Best New Act prize.
