Winehouse moves to safeguard her cash

Amy Winehouse is apparently seeking legal advice to keep her husband away from her cash.

The singer's dad, Mitch, held "constructive" talks with lawyers last week to safeguard her £10 million fortune from Blake Fielder-Civil, reports The Mirror.

A source said: "There was panic in her team that Blake could get access to Amy's money. That cannot be allowed to happen. Mitch is leading the way but Amy is fully aware of what is happening."

The move follows reports that Winehouse is "seriously considering" a divorce, having apparently refused to pay her husband's £30,000 rehab bill.

Fielder-Civil is receiving treatment for drug addiction following his early release from jail, where he was serving a 27-month sentence for GBH and perverting the course of justice.
