Mariah: 'I'll keep my pregnancy secret'

Mariah Carey has said she will keep any baby news secret if she decides to start a family with husband Nick Cannon.

The singer has faced speculation about whether she wants a child since the pair married last April, but remained tight-lipped about her plans.

She said: "People are constantly asking me if I'm pregnant, but I don't like to talk about it too much. I just think about it as the next phase. We'll see."

The 38-year-old admitted that she only reconsidered having children after tying the knot with Canon, saying: "I've changed my mind because I am with The One.

"I think we would make good parents, and that we'd be able to figure everything out together."

Carey recently revealed that she made her husband wait two months before they slept together for the first time.
