Miller's solicitor Mark Thomson confirmed that the terms were approved at an unlisted hearing at London's High Court today.
The privacy claim related to "a series of intrusive articles and photographs" published in the News Of The World and The Sun in June and July. News Group has also agreed to pay the 26-year-old's legal costs.
Mr Thomson said a lawyer for News Group sent a letter to Miller on behalf of the tabloids which read: "We acknowledge that on the specific facts and circumstances of this case you had a reasonable expectation of privacy in respect of the information and the photographs that we published in The Sun and the News Of The World.
"We also accept that we should not have published such information or such photographs."
The actress is still pursuing claims against photo agency Big Pictures.
