Scherzinger: 'Don't marry me off'

Nicole Scherzinger has said that she is in no hurry to marry Lewis Hamilton.

The couple sparked rumours that they were about to tie the knot when Scherzinger was photographed wearing a ring on her engagement finger last week.

However, speaking at the MTV Awards, the popstar said she is still young and does not need to rush into settling down with Hamilton.

"Marriage? Well, I'm only 30, but I want some time first before we do all the wedding stuff," she said. "Stop trying to marry me off!"

When asked whether she has ever been in a race car with the F1 champion, she replied: "I'm not insured for one, but that's his job.

"I don't think I would want him dressed in my trademark tops and being a Pussycat Doll now, would I?"

Scherzinger also expressed sympathy for Victoria Beckham, who she claimed must suffer a great amount of stress with a high-profile sports star husband.

"I now know what Victoria Beckham goes through watching David at all those games - you get really exhausted," she said.
