Winehouse's mum hopes Blake stays away

Amy Winehouse's mum has apparently criticised Blake Fielder-Civil for not telling his wife he was about to be released from jail.

The singer was reportedly distraught after learning the news from members of the press and is now said to be considering a divorce.

Winehouse's mum, Janis, told Closer: "What sort of husband doesn't tell his wife that he's being released? That says it all really, doesn't it?"

Fielder-Civil said his marriage would last forever as he remained in rehab yesterday. However, reports suggested that Winehouse is taking steps to protect her fortune should a split take place.

The 25-year-old's mum added: "Love is blind. I just hope she's beginning to see what he's really like now. Who knows what will happen between them, but I think the fact she hasn't run straight to him now he's out is positive."
