Cox: 'Our daughter wants to act'

Courteney Cox has revealed that her four-year-old daughter is showing signs that she will follow her into showbiz.

The former Friends star said Coco has shown a flair for acting and is becoming used to the positive and negative aspects of the celebrity lifestyle.

"We were leaving a restaurant the other night and there were so many paparazzi. Coco was like: 'Why is everybody taking my picture, mommy?' And I said: 'Coco, it's because mommy is on television,'" she said.

"The first time you see your child flinching from flashes is strange."

Coco's dad David Arquette, who is also an actor, said he thinks his daughter has a strong enough personality to make it in the profession.

However, he claimed that she is unlikely to follow her mum into comedy, saying: "She's a funny, quirky kid but she doesn't like people laughing at her, so it should be drama."
