The duo performed as Fawlty Towers characters Manuel the Spanish waiter and Basil Fawlty for the first time in almost thirty years.
It was also the first time Sachs has appeared on stage since the Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross BBC Radio 2 phone prank row.
Sachs brought a glass of water for Cleese, who was covered in bandages and wearing a sling. When asked what the 11th letter in the alphabet was, Sachs replied with his famous catchphrase from the BBC sitcom, 'Que?' The scene ended with Cleese chasing Sachs off the stage while waving his walking stick.
Cleese hosted the event, which will air on ITV on Saturday. Other performers at the Wimbledon Theatre included Robin Williams, Bill Bailey and Michael McIntyre.
