The Max Payne star, who serves as an executive producer on the HBO show, said that he refuses to divulge which incidents in Entourage are based on his own life.
He told DS: "I will never own up to which bits are real! 'Deny until you die' is my motto. Stuff from me and stuff from other people. It's very different from the real guys. Our stuff was always a lot more dark and edgy.
"I don't want to scare people away and think bad things about me. At the core I'm a good Catholic boy, but I've made some poor choices in my past."
Wahlberg also admitted that he has been the subject of some bizarre rumours in his career.
"[My friend Howard] started [a rumour] that I'm playing Gary Glitter in the biopic!" he said. "There was something a couple of weeks ago that I was upset with the makers of Knocked Up because it was misogynistic. I was like, 'Me?!'"
Asked if he would consider bringing Entourage's Vincent Chase to film in the UK, he replied: "Yeah, why not? Get him to play Gary Glitter!"
