Sheikh Abdulla Bin Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa, son of the King of Bahrain, claims Jackson reneged on a recording and entertainment project, reports PA.
The Sheikh claims cash from the project was to be used to repay money he had advanced to the popstar to solve his financial problems. However, Jackson said in his pleaded defence that payments he received were "gifts" and that the project was never finalised.
The case is listed for trial before a High Court Judge, however, there is a possibility it will be settled. Last week, filed legal papers showed that Jackson's Neverland ranch in California has finally changed ownership.
