Paula Abdul has quashed reports that a spiritualist has been hired to cleanse her home following the death of fan Paula Goodspeed last week.
Goodspeed's body was discovered in a car near the singer's Sherman Oaks house in what police are treating as a suicide.
Page Six later claimed that the American Idol judge was "freaked out" and has hired a healer to cleanse her house.
However, a representative for Abdul told OK! that there is no truth in the claims.
"She's been home since the incident happened. There's no issue with spirits. Paula is shocked and saddened by what transpired. Her heart and prayers go out to the Goodspeed family," the spokesperson said.
