Prince spreads his religion in LA

Prince has revealed that he knocks on doors to tell others about the ministry of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

The singer, who converted to the religion two years ago, told the New Yorker that he attends local Kingdom Hall meetings and goes door knocking to spread the word in his LA neighbourhood.

"Sometimes people act surprised, but mostly they're totally cool about it," he said, describing his change of faith as a "realisation" similar to that of Morpheus and Neo in The Matrix.

The 50-year-old recently claimed that he would be toning down his sexual dance routines so as not to offend fans. However, he added that his religion also played a part in the decision.
