Gallaghers to appear with Hatton in LA

Noel and Liam Gallagher will appear with boxer Ricky Hatton at his Las Vegas boxing match on Saturday.

According to The Mirror, the Oasis duo will carry Hatton's IBO light welterweight belts to the ring at the MGM Grand before his bout with Paul Malignaggi.

"I have to keep pinching myself that it's happening and I'm one of Oasis' biggest fans," Hatton said.

"When I think of the most important things in my life, there's my family first and Campbell my son, then I've got boxing and Manchester City, and then it's Oasis.

"So to have Noel and Liam carry my belts into the ring is ticking off another dream for me, really."

Hatton also hinted that the Manchester band may perform in the ring at one of his future bouts.

"It's something that could happen," he said. "I don't think it will happen on Saturday and at the moment they're touring America and it might not be the right time.

"I'm sure they would love it and I'm sure we could do it at a future fight."
