Cole's brother refuses drugs help

Cheryl Cole's big brother has apparently refused to accept her offer to pay £30,000 so that he can beat his drug and alcohol addictions in rehab.

Andrew Tweedy, 28, has notched up more than 50 court appearances - many of which are for drunken violence, according to the Daily Mail.

The X Factor judge is said to be devastated that her brother will not accept her help, with Tweedy instead having sold his story to a tabloid for £50,000.

A friend told Now: "She's not angry with him, she's angry that the paper gave him £50,000 rather than paying for him to go into rehab.

"He could die if he carries on the way he is, but it torments her that even with all her money there's nothing she can do."
